Grocery Shopping Tip

Everyone has to buy groceries, so here is a little tip I learned today to save you some money! If you’re like me you do your grocery shopping at stores like Walmart to save money, but today I learned it is not always the cheapest way to go. I was watching a morning news broadcast where the reporter went to a bunch of different grocery stores and bought the same things to compare the best prices. Then she went to one of her favorite grocery stores, that is usually a lot more expensive than stores like Walmart, but she used that store’s weekly coupons. She had to buy Jiffy peanutbutter instead of her usual Skippy, and she planned her families meals for that week around what that store had in their coupon book… but she saved a ton of money and only spent about $60!!! I was excited to hear you can shop at the so called “expensive” grocery stores and still come out ahead, the trick is to use that stores coupons and not be too picky about what brand of toothpaste you use. Hope this shopping tip saves you all a little money!!
